Mac vs PC – reality check

I use both the PC (work) and Mac at home.  I LOVE my MAC.

The current “I’m a PC’ commercial really irks me. 

So what is the 5 yr old can use the PC, heck my kids can all control the electronics better then me in our house, and considering they are showing kids in kindergarten how to use a PC is anyone really that impresses?

You wanna impress me P.C. then do same commercial with a 40 yr old getting the stuff to work right out of the box! Then maybe I will reconsider but until them been there and not doing it again.

The current “if you can find it we’ll buy it” commercial really irks me to:

I’m a MAC – sorry if the rest of you can’t “afford” to be cool, but then again I am not replacing my MAC every year or so because it is obsolete like another product with the initials of P.C. so I can afford to pay a little more on my intial purchase, cause I won’t be shelling out additional money later on.

Case in Point – I have had MY MAC 3 years so far, we have had 3 PC’s in that same time, guess who actually spent more?

Privacy the new myth

I wonder if anyone has realized that with YouTube, My Space, Facebook, Twitter, and being able to “Google” people that there really isn’t any privacy left.  Who needs to worry about “Big Brother” anymore?

All the Government needs to do is “Google or Twitter” you and they probably know more about you then they REALLY wanted to know

Vick should a beat a women instead

Vick should have beat a women instead, he would have got less jail time. 

How sad is that, while I in NO WAY condone what Vick did, or Dog Fights in general (cruel and disgusting) it is hard to believe he got jail time and Brown gets away with a slap on the wrist aka probation for beating a women.

The REALLY sad thing is he didn’t get any special treatment, that’s right folks that is what most guys get for beating up their women!

Obviously under the law man vs man, women vs women and man vs women assult charges are the same, HOWEVER there is a big difference between a fight between the same sex and fights between different sexes and the laws need to be changed to reflect that difference and the punishment needs to ACTUALLY fit the crime.

So Vick you would have been better off staging Women Cage Fights instead of DOG fights, you would have done a lot less time!

Maybe I shoulda stayen in BED

You know it is one of those days when you get up and you spend 15 minutes looking for you car keys.

Then as you walk out the door you get dived bombed by a bug.

And once you actually get to your car you discover your kids have left you on empty!

Aspen Drink

I don’t know if any of you remember the Aspen Drink, it was a carbonated Green Apple flavor. It was GOOD. My mom had a job delivering samples back in the day. We would get in the truck, after sticking 2 cans in the plastic bags and then go and leave them on houses. And of course we got to “sample” some!

Well it disappeared and never came back. I have finally found a drink that tastes almost exactly like it at my FAvoRite Place BIG LOTS (hallaula) I am going back and clearing them out tomorrow.

Woo Hoo – only 100 cal a can, I put half into my New Age Wine and have a Spritzer! It so all Good!

EA Fitness Game

This game is MUCH better then WII Fit and the great thing is you can use the WII board if you want (which I do). It has real people videos to show you how to do something. Works better then the cartoon as the movements aren’t always the same in cartoonville and the real world.

And it is for all fitness levels, I am doing the low, my husband is doing the med and my son is doing the hard. And when I am done I have 2 more levels of the 30 day challenge.

they have really cool workouts, and it changes everytime. I highly recommend it!
