Where is my “cuddle” time….

I love my kids, I love having a full nest again, but getting some good “cuddle time” with my husband has become a difficult….trying to figure out when we have the house to ourselves….with all different schedules, time and days, whose on vacation, who isn’t…aauuugghhhh…..come on……!!!

Either we are going to send someone to a hotel, or we are going to one shortly….I can take the no hot water, I can take the laundry being currently occupied, I can take the stupid dirty dishes….but I am NOT losing “cuddle time” that is not an option here!

Healthify on the down low

So the kids don’t eat well, but I really can’t nag, they are adults, however…….hee hee, I can healthify what I make that they eat….Oh Yea…..!

So I had some apples that were going to go bad, so I cut them up and added a little butter, cinnamon and vanilla, then I simmered them.  Then after reading how to make dough, I went to the store and got honey butter crescent rolls (what, have you seen how hard it is!!??)

So I rolled up the cooked apples in the crescent rolls for individual apple pies.  The dough itself was only 100 cal and the 3 apples made 8 fillings so they couldn’t be that high.

Booyah, mama still got’s it goin’ on!

I was apple to do a kitchen mash up and not through out food and make something healthy for them and they liked it.

Renesting is InTerEsting….

So, my son and his fiance moved in.  It is going pretty good.  We have the shower schedules down, and we are using their fridge in the garage for overflow.

But one pet peeve is driving me crazy.  Now I am home, so I don’t mind doing some things but really, how many glasses can two people use in a DAY.  They use more glasses then we did in a month, in ONE day, and mostly for WATER….aauuggh.

So of course, everyone rinsing their dishes and putting in the dishwasher has fallen to the way side, I will be talking to him today about that.  But I have stopped putting the glasses away.  NOPE, not gonna do it, so he realizes it is a very BIG hint, I leave the glasses on the counter for him or her to put away.

Other then that, going pretty smooth, although, they eat horribly.  But what can I do, I am the mom, but they are adults.  We do not buy any junk, if they want to eat unhealthy, they have to buy it themselves 🙂
