Green Chef – es good

So my mom and I are trying to eat healthier, mostly a plant based diet, so the Green Chef has a great vegetarian option with organic produce.

The dishes were easy enough even I could cook them, all though I still screw up some, ’cause Betty Crocker I ain’t!

It was nice because most of the time, if there was an ingredient we didn’t like ….say onions, peppers, ect….we could skip them.

Luckily my mom has a neighbor who likes spicy stuff like that so we could give it to him so the stuff didn’t go to waste.

Most of the dishes made 2 to 4 small servings, so it was perfect for us.

While it not “cheap” per plate, you would spend more getting all the ingredients , and yes you would have some left over, but how much of it would be wasted before you could us it all?

So this plan or any of the food plans are good for 1 / 2 people, more then that, not sure the price works as well.

Let’s NOT be able to contact our customers

the same company has come up with a NEW policy that sellers can’t contact their customers AT ALL.  Yep no way to do it.  Here is what I sent to them and the response, believe me I am NOT the only one unhappy about this….so I have been selling less and less here, looking for a new site, one that lets me talk to my customers…

Dear xx,

Maybe you should REINSTATE the mailbox option so we can contact our customers while you are working out the kinks of the support tickets.  Why are our customers and sales having to suffer, while you work on this issue?

I checked with xxx about this, and he said that it’s still something that we plan on doing, but we’re not to that yet.

The Support Tickets project is still open and working and having new types of tickets being created.

We are not going to reinstate the mailbox option. At some point, we will have a way to open a ticket to contact buyers when there are questions. It’s not “working on the issue”, it’s something that’s planned for the future.

If you have issues related to specific orders, please contact Support so they can assist you.

things that make you go hmmm

so I use a site other then ebay to sell my items, they recently made some very….well….STUPID changes.

One of the worst is they haven’t linked feedback to the sale but the item.  So while you can never delete a sale from your history, you can delete an item, if you are out of stock, don’t like it, ect…

So what I found out is that you delete the item, your feedback disappears with it, this is annoying and can be used to get rid of bad feedback, which is usually there for a reason, not always but sometimes.  So I sent them a response letting them know this was happening and here is there response….basically they don’t care that you can manipulate your feedback ratings…

” xxx only wants you to have top rated items in your stock. For your benefit as well as xxx.

If a Product gets 3 or more bad ratings, the chances of it being scheduled are very slim and it would behoove the seller to remove it from their inventory since, if it did get scheduled, the buyer would see the poor star rating the product had, and probably not bid on the item, but you would still be charged the scheduling fee.

If you delete an item just to get rid of the bad reviews, why would you want to create a new listing for something that will get bad reviews again? It doesn’t make sense and you would still need to deal with any bad reviews going forward. Also, the system itself uses information on all items and if there has been poor performance, then it may not get scheduled anyway.”

hhmmmmm….I don’t think they get it…..oh well

Do NOT buy this “pasta” maker…it SUCKS…Norpro Grinder/Mincer/Pasta Maker

I am pretty good at my reviews, I take in to consideration that most errors are OE (operator error) NOT this time.  This is a piece of C&*P!

First off there are no directions on how to use the different shape cutters, yes it come out like playdoh but how do you cut them off in to bite size pieces without closing the hole at the end???

I ended up pushing them on Chopsticks, the ones I could salvage….In the end I got pissed off, threw it all away and refused to make dinner, we brought home Arby’s!

Now it might be fine for the Grinding and Mincing, but since most of the parts are PLASTIC and there are no directions, not sure.  I am taking this back, I am still pissed just thinking about it!

SwagBucks….much swag, no bucks

I signed up with Swapbucks thru Listia..I really like this site, no money exchanges, you sell things and buy things with credits, you can spend money to get credits but you don’t need to.  Great place to get rid of all the stuff hiding in closets and drawers, but I digress, so supposedly I could get 94,002 credits if I signed up, I signed up and I never got my points.  Been over a month know, on top of that, I bought some books thru their site, and I was supposed to credit swagbucks towards gift cards for my purchase.

Again, no swagbucks, I sent 2 emails two weeks apart and still no response, so I would say, skip the swagbucks, because at least for me, I haven’t seen anything they have promised so far.

I would say check out listia, it be rockin’!

Thred-Up – I sent some clothes in and this is the results

I saw a post on Thred-Up, where you can get money for your clothes.  First off if you are going to send clothes in I suggest sending a large amount in at once, and nothing that you would want back if they choose not to buy it, as they charge you $4.99 for a shipping bag to send in your clothes and $12.99 to send items back.

I got in on a deal and my bag was free, however, I did say I wanted things back they didn’t want, they charge you $12.99, I think this is a lot.

So since this was my first time, I didn’t send in as much as I could have, thus my suggestion above, send in everything you have!  Also, don’t send in stuff you would want back as $12.99 is kind of high, I was glad to get back the items they didn’t keep.

I received $8.93 for the items they kept, they will sell them for $75.94, and I didn’t get any cash since I requested un-bought items back it cost me $12.99, so I actually lost $4.06.

Items they have already sold:

style&co dress pants                   13.99

style&co dress pants                    13.99

dkny jeans                                     12.99

carlos by carlos santa heels          17.99

dressbarn sleeveless top                7.99

On sale at this moment

mossino sweater dress                   8.99

So I think they only way this makes sense is to send a huge amount of clothes in, none that you want back, and don’t expect to make a bunch of cash.

I like the this site doesn’t limit it to super expensive, name label clothes, but I think they could a least not charge you to send your items in!

I received around 11% of what they sell it for, I would think they could at least give 25%, so instead of 8.93 it would have been $18.98.
